I'm Hillary Barry, owner and founder of Evoke Edits. I'm a Florida-born only child, with an insatiable lust for language. Writing, grammar, syntax - to me, these things are innate, and it is my passion and my pleasure to help authors, students, and business professionals achieve their writing successes.

I have a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida, with additional coursework in Technical Communication. I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the ACES Society for Editing, and the International Associate of Professional Writers and Editors. I have over two hundred hours of supplementary education in the English and Literary genres, and I'm currently enrolled in MGSU's Technical and Professional Writing MA program.

When I'm not nerding out inside, I'm nerding out outside - kayaking Florida's intracoastal waterways, puddle jumping to bucket-list destinations, or resetting in the Appalachians with my road dog, Timber.
